Cornell Amerson was born in Detroit Michigan during the mid 1960's; he grew up in a Detroit public housing community, where he attended Detroit public schools during the 1970. Cornell Amerson was eagered to join the work force and his first job, he worked as a summer youth employee.Mr. Amerson had various job before deciding to write "The Janitor's Secret" and become an entrepreneur. He worked at McDonalds where he was a cook and trainer. He also worked as a Patent
Draftsman for two years, however his job that he was much proud of was his job as a Recreational Aid for the Detroit Recreation Department, where most of the centers were located in distressed communities in Detroit. Cornell passion for
working with the Children didn't stop him or discourage him from working in such communities.
Mr. Amerson other accomplishments is his love for drawing, building balsawood model aircrafts, inventing things as well as completing an entrepreneur course in 2000.With all these things under his belt, you would never guess that Mr. Amerson had no or lack of any formal education. It was shamefully denied by Detroit Public school system for lack of concern for
teaching children with Dyslexia and not classify it as a learning disability, which Mr. Amerson later discovered he had. That action adversely cost Mr. Cornell Amerson his formal education and all the pain of not having an education
ultimately caused him to write his book title:
The Janitor's Secret. Therefore, he wrote his book, in hope to shade some light and information on
learning disabilities matter and the negative stigma use to create ill treatment instead of fair treatment and tolerance for other children that maybe attending school facing these same issues - and with this knowledge he believe will come a
great level of prevention that may put a stop to any school system's practice which denies any child an education due to a learning disability challenge. Presently Mr. Amerson works for the City of Detroit Wastewater Treatment Plant
but, his pursuit to achieve greatness is ongoing despite his dyslexia. Also, "The Janitor's Secret" literary value and information is respectfully recognized by the AMERICAN DYSLEXIA ASSOCIATION Inc.
